MOZAMBIQUE: DEMOCRACY AND GOVERNANCE Electoral disputes: "Constitutional" to accelerate appreciation of resources The Constitutional Council (CC) is to accelerate the analysis of appeals by eight political organizations that protested the decision of the National Electoral Commission (CNE) to exclude them total/partially from the electoral race on 28 October. Legally, the deadline for the publication of the ruling on complaints ends next Monday. RENAMO speaks five wounded. Albino Faife, RENAMO provincial delegate in Manica Province in central Mozambique, said yesterday that members of his party have been harassed and beaten for no longer support the party, and have even received death threats.
