To continue the debate, today I chose the four news above.

The first one is related to the distribution of the state budget. I am happy that Members of Parliament of the opposition parties (namely MDM and RENAMO) took time to analyze the proposal of the State Budget for the current year. I do agree that there was a mistake in giving more proportion of the budget for security issues than for social and economic issues. The government should remember that Mozambique is not in war! If the budget and the Economic Plan is aimed to fight against poverty, why is it giving priority to the issues related to the security? Congratulations, Members of the opposition parties! We must check and balance our governmentºs actions and plans... The government must firstly work to serve its people and not to care of its own security in times of peace! If people is safe, the government will be safe...

The second story is related to the deterioration of fish due to the lack of conservation and market. Yesterday I suggested that rehabilitating roads would facilitate the movement of economic agents. Letºs think about it... and forget about the governmentºs uthopic security because there is no threat! The only threat for the Mozambican government is the peopleºs poverty...


The last news is related to the visit of the Minister of Justice to the Maximum Security Jail, aka BO. If you remember, yesterday I post a story through which the Chief of the Jail has been torturing and mistreating inmates! Congratulations, Minister! A good leader deals directly with the problem... Therefore, it is necessary to ascertain and take the needed measures against all involved in this breaking of the human rights principles!

I dedicate a nice weekend for all... Moderate the comsumption of alcohol. Alcohol is killing seriously in Mozambique, if mixed with driving.
