For todayºs debate, I chose two stories below.

The first one is related to the visit of President Guebuza to the Province of Niassa. Peasants asked them to improve railway acess so that they can dispose their harvests. I have noticed the problem of transport in Africa and Mozambique, in particular. African Governments might address the problem as priority! A good network of transport can change the dynamics of domestic economies in the continent! It can also improve investments... We always ask why does Asia receive more investment than Africa... The answer is that Asians used their money loans to develop their transport network, infrastructure and human resources. We, africans do not do it! We use money to build palaces, to buy expensive cars, to accommodate political interests. We use money to empower our armies so that it can defend us in case of crise. We do not attack causes, but consequences! It is time to change of mentality if we want to go develop...

The second story is related to the visit of the Minister of Justice to the Maximum Security Jail, aka BO. She confirmed that thare were cases of inmates torture and mistreatment. There was a violation of human rights. What I liked, is tha fact that she promised to take several measures against the authors. Letºs wait to see what will happen in the next days! Holla...
