Hello my good people!

This is me, once again... The three news chosen for todayºs debate are these below.

The first one is related to the choice of Luisa Diogo and Antonio Muchanga for the Stateºs Council. For me, these people have merit. This is a right choice for both parties, FRELIMO and RENAMO. Luisa Diogo has a Major in Economics at University of London. She has been Deputy Minister and Minister of Finance. She has been also the Prime Minister of Mozambique for two terms. She has been responsible for implementing many economic reforms in the country. I think that this is a good way to thank her for the work that she has done.

Who lives in Mozambique and does not know Antonio Muchanga? He is known by his sarcastic interventions against FRELIMO and the government. As member of a opposition party, he is a good politician. With his own style, I believe that Muchanga is part of the new generation that can substitute the leader.His only sin is to attack the personal life of the political actors of FRELIMO. Therefore, as he did not conquer a seat in the new parliament, i believe that this is a good way to accommodate him in the political scenario.


The second story is related to the financial environment of Mozambique, in the context of SADC. The study might point out all the causes that make people to distrust the financial formal institutions (Banks, etc). Therefore, after any study recommended by the government, there is a position of the same government. I did not see this position. People has right to know about the governmentºs position on the survey.

The last news is related to the TB that is killing inmates in Nampula. If the government is serious, it will figure out that not caring about the health of inmates, is a flagrant violation of human rights. Dear Minister of Justice, why not going to Nampula to check the situation and take measures?
