Use of public funds in the campaign in Nampula: Frelimo throw blame on state officials
In most of the country, the visibility of the Frelimo electoral campaign is partly subsidized by the use of the state resources, especially cars and motorcycles. In national legislation the act constitutes a violation of the law.
In Nampula, the use of state resources is visible in caravans of Frelimo, with cars of almost all provincial directors, heads of departments and directors of schools. However, the Secretary for Mobilization and Propaganda of Frelimo in this Province, Lourenço Sabonete, claimed that his party does not use resources of the State but of their comrades. He also said he has no responsibility to employees who use the resources of the state, because they act individually.

RENAMO without supervisors of elections in Inharrime
RENAMO may not have the required number of delegates to supervise the elections of 28 October in Inharrime district, Inhambane province.
According to the RENAMO political delegate in that district, Paturane Luis, until now, the number of registered delegates to fill the 120 seats in 61 polling stations will operate at that point in the country on election day is less than half.
This reality is due to the dissatisfaction of RENAMO militants allegedly because from the beginning of the voting system in Mozambique (1994), they still did not receive subsidies in respect of their services in the polling stations.
