Recently journalists and members of civil society reported this practice in places such as Pemba (Cabo Delgado province), Cahora Bassa (Tete province), Mabalane (Gaza province) and Machanga (Sofala province). Benzane is taking the knowledge about the state of equipment and facilities to be used during the counting of votes at the district level as well as the center of data collection for the publication of results in the provincial press centre. It is the Social Liberal Party (SOL), the Progressive Party (PUP) and the Party for Freedom and Development (PLD). (O Pais. 20th October, 2009) 405 illegal foreign workers caught in the Country According to the Ministry of Labor, about 405 foreign workers illegally in Mozambique were identified from January to September this year, having been suspended from their activities. South African and Mozambican mercenaries recruited to help the military junta in Guinea South African mercenaries and other foreign people suspected of being from Mozambique, Botswana and Zimbabwe, have possibly been recruited by a security company to help the military junta to remain in power in Guinea, West Africa. It was impossible to contact the security company supposedly involved in the recruitment of foreigners - with headquarters offices in Dubai, the UAE and with offices in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and South Africa (O Pais. 20th October, 2009)
